My Thoughts on Core synergistics MC2

This workout is part of the Tony Horton's One one One series. He's getting prepared for his MC2 series that will be coming out this year. Ok. to start out with let me say that I didn't like the first Core Synergistics. It's probably true, the things you need the most you don't like. So I tried part of this workout this morning. It clocks out at an hour and 7 minutes. Unfortunately, I only have 45 minutes each morning, so that's what I did. There is a warm-up, workout and a bonus round. I love the equipment that was used: stability ball, med ball, basketball (optional) and slides (Valslides or gliding disks only used in bonus round). The warm-up is fast and great. (he uses the stability ball). The workout is a good sweaty workout. I think I do like workout better than the first one. There is a quite a bit of stability work, so I really feel like I've worked my lower body, but also the core and yes my upper body. I think I'll throw this in between two cardio days, because it is such a well rounded workout that works your whole body. I'm always looking for another workout to use my medicine ball and my slides so I enjoy the fact that he added lots of equipment into this workout. BUT if you don't have something it is so easy to modify to not use the equipment he is using. I hope you'll try this workout out and let me know what you think. It's available from Beachbody and you can get from my website. http://beachbodycoach.com/lilshortstuff

Cathe: MMA Boxing

Wow, love this video. First, let me start out by saying that I like to keep everything low impact and work out in a pretty small space. I also used my 2 # boxing gloves with this workout.

I think this is fun. I would like to use this at least once a week for cardio. The punching drills are easy to learn and fun. You can really give it your all. Then she does a upper body blast and a lower body blast. I modified everything to make it low impact. I still got a great workout and really had my heart rate up high.

I give 5 stars ***** for this great Cathe workout. I wish there were more boxing workouts like this one. Love the boxing, love that I can squeeze this workout in my schedule in the morning.
